The Rising Sun at Pelcomb Bridge played host to a fantastic community event on Bank Holiday Monday as 18 teams gathered for the Pembrokeshire Vikings Car Treasure Hunt. The event, which took place on May 5th, 2025, saw participants traveling around a picturesque section of the county, solving clues and collecting scavenger items along the way.

Organisers Gethin Bateman, Andrea Bateman, and Meg created an engaging and challenging route that tested participants' problem-solving skills while showcasing the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside. Each car paid £10 to enter, with all proceeds benefiting the Pembrokeshire Vikings Mixed Ability Sport program.

After careful double-marking to ensure accuracy, the final results were:

• 1st Place: The Getaway Car (108 points)
• 2nd Place: 2 Screws Loose (107 points)
• 3rd Place: The Sweeties (106.5 points)

Following the treasure hunt, teams returned to The Rising Sun to enjoy well-deserved meals and celebrate their achievements. Prizes will soon be awarded to the winning teams.
