The Narberth Pool League celebrated another successful season with a fantastic presentation night at Narberth Rugby Club on Wednesday 23rd April 2026.
Prior to presentation night, the A League title race went right down to the wire, with RAOB Social A finding themselves 6-7 down against Alpha D and needing to win their final two frames to clinch the championship. They pulled it back to 7-7 before Captain David Lewis stepped up, broke and dished to seal the title in dramatic fashion.
RAOB Social A added the Team Knockout trophy to their league title with a dominant 6-1 victory over Alpha A on Wednesday Night.
The Triples final provided the most thrilling match of the night, with David, Luke and Dean of RAOB Social A completing a trio of team trophies, coming from 0-4 down to win 5-4 against Station House A's Richard, Scott and Mathew.
Luke Guymer capped off an outstanding individual season, winning the Open Singles final 5-2 against Steve Owens after he had already sealed the A League Most Wins title. Luke's teammate Will Valance claimed the A Masters title, whilst Helen Hallwood was named Top Lady Player and won the B Masters.
Three stunning tables were supplied and set up by Paul Buschnell for the presentation night, with thanks going to secretary Colin Hallwood and the committee for another excellently organised season.
