With the majority of Pembrokeshire's football teams out of action due to more adverse weather throughout the week, Hakin United took the chance to extend their lead at the top of the Division One table with a 3-0 away win over Merlins Bridge at the Pembrokeshire Sports Village.

The Wizards defence stood form for 80 minutes before the Vikings finally broke the deadlock through their Captain Ryan Wilson, set up by subsitute Mark Jones.

Man of the Match Jack Britton then doubled his side's lead with a goal in the 89th minute, with another assist from a subsitute with fellow central midfielder Jordan Kilby setting him up.

The league leaders wrapped up the scoring with a third goal in injury-time, Shane Walsh setting up fellow forward Leon Luby to round off the win.

The result sees Hakin United now on 42 points, 13 clear of second place Monkton Swifts. Whilst there will be no complacency from Scott Davies' side - he will be delighted to have been able to play today and extend their lead over those below them.
