Haverfordwest County made it two wins from two in the second phase of the JD Cymru Premier League with an impressive away win over Briton Ferry on Friday 6th February.

The result sees the Bluebirds leapfrog their opponents into top spot of their group, now sitting on 30 points.

Briton Ferry had emerged victory at the Ogi Bridge Meadow recently with a 3-2 win, but Haverfordwest have welcomed Corey Shepherd back into the side since that game alongside new signing Jacob Bacon who kept a clean sheet on his debut against Cardiff Met.

After a goalless first half, the visitors found the breakthrough in the 58th minute with midfield maestro Coreyh Shepherd setting up Dan Hawkins.

The victory was sealed in injury-time, with top scorer Ben Ahmun doubling Haverfordwest's lead, thanks to an assist from Owain Jones.
