Clarbeston Road completed the double over Fishguard Sports with a convincing 3–0 away victory at Tregroes Park. Having edged the reverse fixture 2–1 earlier in the season, Clarby showed their quality again with a strong all-round performance and a clean sheet.

The "Farming Army" went into the tie on the back of a thrilling 3-4 West Wales Cup defeat to Monkton Swifts, looking to consolidate their league position following a decent start - two losses to St Ishmaels their only defeats so far.

The visitors took control early, opening the scoring through Emyr Griffiths, who finished neatly after sustained pressure, with an assist for Jack Ashman. Shortly after, Ben "Rocky" John doubled the lead after being set up by player-manager Travis Jones, putting Clarby firmly in command before the break.

Fishguard battled to find a way back in the second half, but Clarby’s defence held firm. Jack Ashman getting on the scoresheet for the second game running to seal the win with a well-taken goal to make it 3–0.

A yellow card for Greg Brown in the first period was the only booking of the game overseen by the experienced Alan Boswell.

A good performance from Clarby as they move onto there next match vs Carew in a match where they will be looking to secure back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

Fishguard Sports take on Merlins Bridge - who sit one point above them - next weekend as they look to get back to winning ways following a tricky run of fixtures.
