The Connect: Pembrokeshire featured game took place at Little Castle Grove, where league leaders Herbrandston II welcomed Hundleton & Wallaston II in a game sponsored by Ian Milsom of the Haven Fish Bar, Milford Haven, Milsom also doubling up as the games umpire, with Clarrisa Lewis scribing the game both in her book and on play cricket.

Visiting skipper Stuart Midgley elected to bowl first on winning the toss, but they couldn’t take early wickets to make an impression on the game, Wales Disability international Callum Power with nigh on a run a ball 43(6x4) and John Camani (65; 5x4) adding 85 for the first wicket before Breig Matthews broke the partnership in taking 2-39. Adam Parr struck a six and five boundaries in his 46 of a 92 run third wicket stand before he was bowled by Lowis Hughes, who is departing at the end of the summer to the north of England, the teenager also took the wicket of Camani in her 2-20.

Parr (1-10) removed Mathews in the first over after tea but it was his veteran new ball partner Mark Hicks with 3-19 who paved the way for victory as his side pursue the Einion Richards Cup under the guidance of skipper Johnny Lewis. Opener Ffion Ashman contributed 16 (3x4) and Connor Beynon 48 (6x4) for the visitors, skipper Midgley unbeaten on 26 (2x4) alongside Callum Williams 17 (3x4) when the 35 over innings concluded.
