The 2025 Ormond Cup Final at Carew CC on Sunday (Aug 3) will be between Cresselly and Neyland.
Cresselly were awarded their semi final tie after the combined Carew & Lawrenny side couldn’t fulfill the fixture on Friday (Jul 18).

On the same evening, Neyland (144-4) defeated visitors to the Athletic Ground Haverfordwest (69ao) by 96 runs in a game umpired by Hundleton duo, Chris Stapleton and Steve Williams.

The ‘All Whites’ success was built on a 72 run opening partnership between Charlie Welch (20;2x4) and man of the match Dylan Hames who truck a brace of sixes and four boundaries in his run a ball 65.

All rounder Corey Riley contributed 14 (1x4) for his side who had been invited to bat by Town skipper Fin Ateyo (1-16).

Dillon Lewis (1-13) bowled well in the latter stages from the Town end to help curtail the home sides free scoring approach, Sidak Mahey (1-31) and Freddie Goodridge (1-35) also wicket takers, as the fielding sides contributed to the total with 22 wides.

The response was never allowed to get underway as new ball bowlers Morgan Britton (1-10) and Welch (2-12) took early wickets, supported by Riley (2-11), Sammie Vaughan-Harris (2-3), Ethan Roberts (1-16) and the final wicket to Ian Lewis (1-5), visiting wicketkeeper Brandon Dewstowe (14:1x6;3x4) the only batsman to register double digits in the scorebooks of Arthur Arran and Clarissa Lewis.
