A late double from substitute Troy Harding secured the Division Four Cup for Fishguard Sports 2nds over Angle on Tuesday 29th April.
The game always looked to be finely poised, with Angle in fine form finishing the season in 3rd place in the league and with Fishguard Sports 2nds already taking a couple of scalps knocking out Tenby 2nds and Prendergast Villa en route to the final.
In a closely contested first half, Fishguard started the game well, before Angle responded to finish the half strongly, deservedly taking the lead with a good header from Jake Seaton after a cross from Marcus Blair.
Fishguard pushed on in the second half in search of an equaliser, pressing well and playing good football, but with Angle looking dangerous on the break.
The 72nd minute saw the introduction of Fishguard's top goalscorer Troy Harding and no later than five minutes later he found an equaliser.
With the scores level after 90 minutes, 30 minutes additional time were to be played.
The game remained goalless for another 25 minutes before Harding became the hero with another strike, thanks to an assist from the experience Jared Gethin, to seal the victory for his team with just five minutes left to play.
