Merlins Bridge 2nds and Johnston shared a 1-1 draw in Manderwood Pembrokeshire Division Two with goals for Danny Pearce and Alfie Crawford.

Although they had no first team fixture for the weekend, Bridge took the opportunity to rest their players for their West Wales Cup Semi-Final rather than drop them down in to their seconds squad. Will Evans did come in to the side, as he is suspended for the midweek game.

Johnston were forced into starting Josh Farrar in goal with Andrew Fairbairn not arriving in time.

The Wizards took the lead in the 10th minute with Will Evans setting up Danny Pearce.

Johnston grew into the game, and found an equaliser in the 57th minute through Alfie Crawford, with an assist for Josh Knapp. The goal is Alfie's seventh for the first team and 18th overall for the club.

The hosts were reduced to ten men when Kieran Jones saw red, with Johnston in the ascendency but unable to find a cutting edge in front of goal.

The result sees Merlins Bridge 2nds remain third and Johnston remain 8th in the table but with plenty of games in hand on the teams surrounding them.
