Here at Connect: Pembrokeshire we are delighted to announce that we are expanding our sports coverage to include the upcoming Pembrokeshire Cricket season with weekly scores, reports, interviews and an annual magazine.

With the Cricket season fast approaching, here at Connect we will keep you updated with all games up and down the county. In addition to this, we will be providing excellent photography of all games from all over the county from Lawrenny to Llanrhian.

Will it be another season of dominance for Neyland Cricket Club? Having already performed brilliantly in indoor league as they have done for so many years now, the signs are certainly good for the coming season.

Haverfordwest or the ‘Town’ now return to the first division... will Chris Phillips’ team be able to compete at the top of the table as they did for so many years prior to relegation? Being one of the biggest clubs in the county, it seems fitting that their first eleven are back in the top division.

The winter months have seen a few interesting transfers within the leagues. Chris Fitzpatrick has left St Ishmaels to return to Johnston as Club Captain, while Jonathan Rogers, a key player for Pembroke for a decade, has taken up a new challenge at Carew. A blow for Tish and Pembroke to lose two key all rounders but Johnston and Carew respectively will be delighted to have signed players who can contribute with both bat and ball.

Meanwhile, Llangwm have lost a key player in Joseph Kiff who has moved up the road to local rivals Burton to join Toby Hayman's team. In other transfer news, brothers Callum and Rhys Power have signed for Herbrandston.

Keep your eyes peeled for a big interview coming in in the next couple of days as we look forward to what promises to be an exciting 2024 season.

Our comprehensive coverage will keep you updated with cup, league and regional competitions. For everything Pembrokeshire Cricket, Connect will be your go to platform, following the success of our Football and Rugby coverage.

We will also be releasing a 2024 Cricket Annual Magazine looking back at how all Pembrokeshire teams fared during the summer season. This will be an excellent keepsake for fans and players alike, replicating a similar look and feel of our 2023 Football Annual.

This has been made possible thanks to the support of Valero who have agreed to be the principal sponsor for this magazine.

We have a number of advertising slots available for any local businesses wanting to show their support for their local teams or to advertise to the readers with a wide audience of tens of thousands across the county, with a variety of options available. Your support makes our coverage and print publications possible, as well as being available completely free!
