HAVERFORDWEST continued their perfect start to the season on Saturday (Nov 11) as they beat Llangwm 36-10 in front of a good crowd.

Llangwm were only 5-0 down after the first quarter but the Blues scored three more tries, either side of a Harry Makepeace penalty for Llangwm, to earn a bonus point.

Lee Summons, Mike Phillips, Gareth John and Mike Griffiths all went over with two conversions being added by Archie Phillips for a 24-3 half time lead.

Phil Llewellyn bagged a second half try for the visitors but it wasn't enough to spark a comeback.

The home side added two more tries late on to confirm their sixth win from six league games.

John added his second try and Karl Busch added the sixth and the win keeps the Blues top of the table.

They are level on points with Cardigan who earned a 19-15 win over Laugharne.

The Blues will face third-placed Aberaeron, who enjoyed a 68-0 win over Llanybydder, in their next game.

Neyland were down at half time in their game against Pembroke but two second half tries earned them their second win of the season.

St Davids earned their first win of the season on Saturday as they beat Pembroke Dock Quins 36-17.

Tom Clarke had two tried for the Saints with others coming from George Raymond, Tommy Reynolds, Ben Joyce and Owen Swain.

Aaron Foster added three conversions for the home side.

In League 2 West, Tenby sit in third place after they beat Nantgaredig 32-20. Hywel Baker, Dan Allen, Cam Broadhurst and Jack Brown all scored tries for the home side who earned their fifth win in as many games.

St Clears remain in second place in the League after they beat Amman United 65-0 to secure their sixth win from eight games.

Milford Haven suffered defeat on Saturday as they were beaten 43-7 by Mumbles.

Whitland were also beaten in League 1 West, Waunarlywydd running away with a 52-17 win.

In the WRU Championship West, Narberth and Crymych both earned wins.

Narberth beat Llangennech 44-15 to move to the top of the table with their seventh win from as many games.

Crymych moved into fourth place as they beat Maesteg Quins 33-24.
