Haverfordwest County advanced to the fourth round of the FAW Welsh Cup with a 2-0 victory over Ammanford thanks to goals from Ricky Watts and Martell Taylor-Crossdale.

The Bluebirds made three changes to their starting XI with goalkeeper Ifan Knott coming into the side alongside Kayden Williams-Lowe and Iori Humphreys.

The visitors put in a spirited performance and went in to the break with the score level at 0-0.

The hosts took the lead in the 52nd minute with club legend Ricky Watts heading home from a Lee Jenkins header across goal.

15 minutes later Martell Taylor-Crossdale doubled the lead after a good ball from Oscar Borg.

The game finished 2-0 with the Bluebirds comfortably through to the next round of the Welsh Cup.
