Pembrokeshire's two footballing giants met once again in the pick of this round's West Wales Cup games, with Goodwick United travelling to last season's finalists Hakin United.

The two sides had already met once this season in their domestic league where they shared a 4-4 draw following a fiery encounter containing three red cards.

Goodwick's star midfielder Rhys Jones opened the scoring with an absolute rocket of a free-kick from the the edge of the box in the 29th minute, his 14th goal of another fantastic season.

Hakin equalised through young forward Callum Stannett who was set up by Jack Griffiths to ensure the sides were level 1-1 at the half-time break.

Rhys Jones opened the scoring again in the second half, scoring from the penalty spot to put the Phoenix Boys 2-1 up in the 58th minute.

James Bryan then made it three fifteen minutes later with Captain Scott Delaney picking up an assist.

Hakin were then reduced to 10 men when substitute Hayden Dimond saw red for a headbutt on Matty Delaney, who also picked up a yellow card.

Rhys Dalling then made it four after being setup by substitute Nathan Greene, before adding a fifth to complete the scoring thanks to an assist from Ben Adams.
