Tenby made it back to back victories in Pembrokeshire Division One with a 4-0 home win over Clarbeston Road, keeping them in 5th place as they look to enjoy a strong second half to their season.
The Seasiders have been faced with a relatively stop-start season, going over two months without league football between November and January. In between that time, they faced a heartbreaking penalty shoot-out exit in the West Wales Cup, but comfortably dispatched Haverfordwest Cricket Club to advance in the Pembrokeshire Senior Cup - a competition they will be looking to target.
Clarbeston Road sit in 7th place followed a season of mixed results. They, like many other clubs, have struggled with availability throughout the season - often leaving space on their substitutes bench - with star forward Ben "Rocky" John the latest player to miss out on the action as they made their trip to the Clicketts.
The hosts got off to a lightning start, with Robson Evans scoring inside the first minute, before Jacob Hipkiss doubled their lead just six minutes later, with both assists for summer signing Shaun Whitfield.
Scott Ferney then added another in the 15th minute, convering from the penalty spot.
In a quieter second half, Ferney became provider for the fourth goal, setting up another summer signing Liam Williams who has enjoyed himself in front of goal since making his move - netting four times whilst also registering three assists so far this season.
Next up for Tenby is another home match against Williams' former club Pennar Robins, where they will be hopeful of continuing their winning run.
For Clarbeston Road, a tough trip away to Monkton Swifts awaits as they look to return to winning ways with only one victory in their last nine games.
