MANY teams braved the rain and mud on Saturday (Mar 2) to put on a show for the supporters who had come to watch.

In League 3 West A, PEMBROKE DOCK HARLEQUINS earned their fifth win of the season as they beat Neyland 11-5.

The Quins built up an 11-0 lead either side of half time with a try from Owain Turner and penalties from Ben Hathaway.

Neyland looked for a way back into the game in the second half but Quins defended well to keep them out.

Josh Watts eventually broke through to score on his debut for the All Blacks but it was just a consolation effort.

ST DAVIDS were victorious again on Saturday as they beat Llanybydder 32-7.

George Raymond scored two tries for the Saints while Aaron Foster, Harvey Godkin, Will Savage and Nathan Foster also went over as they gained a bonus point.

Jack Jones added one conversion as the Saints earned their seventh win of the season which keeps them in fifth place in the table.

CARDIGAN are the new leaders of the division after they beat Pembroke 25-5.

The Teifisiders ran in three tries but were just unable to find a fourth which would have given them a bonus point.

In LEAGUE 2 WEST there was a derby between Tenby and Milford Haven.

It was an excellent game but it was Tenby who came out on top with a 13-10 win.

Tenby went ahead after being awarded a penalty try but Milford hit back with a try from Zac Davies which was converted by James Williams.

In the second half a penalty from Harry Rossitter put Tenby back ahead but Milford levelled once more thanks to a penalty from Oli Rothero.

It looked as if a draw would be on the cards but a late penalty from Lloyd Thomas gave Tenby their twelfth win of the season.

Elsewhere there was a narrow defeat for Fishguard who were beaten 20-14 by Loughor.

Fishguard held a 9-7 lead at half time thanks to three James Griffiths penalties.

However, they were unable to hang on in the second half, despite a try for Dan Evans, as Loughor showed why they are battling for promotion to League 1.

ST CLEARS still lead the way in League 2 West as they earned a 20-11 victory over Pontyberem.

In LEAGUE 1 WEST, WHITLAND were beaten 29-21 by Kidwelly.

Jonathan Thomas, Oliver Bujega and Deian Davies all scored tries for the Borderers which were all converted by Geraint Jones.

In the WRU Championship West, CRYMYCH earned a 29-13 victory over Tata Steel.

The win keeps Crymych in sixth place, a point behind the top five.

NARBERTH won again on Saturday as they beat Ammanford 47-10 to maintain their 100% record.
