Milford United were knocked out of the West Wales Cup, falling to a 0-3 defeat to current champions Penlan.

Milford United have enjoyed a strong season since their promotion to Division One and find themselves in the top half of their domestic league, but this game was always going to be a big challenge given the quality of Penlan, the reigning West Wales Cup Champions.

Jordan Doyle opened the scoring for the visitors with a goal in the 35th minute to give his side a 1-0 lead at the break.

Doyle then scored again in the 57th minute to double Penlan's lead.

Darren Rowe added a third just three minutes later to round off the victory for his side.

Penlan will now face Goodwick United in the Semi-Finals in what promises to be a mouthwatering clash between two of the widely touted competition favourites.
