Carew secured a top five finish with a thrilling comeback to defeat Merlins Bridge 5-4 in Manderwood Pembrokeshire Division One.

Carew went into the game in great league form after six consecutive league wins and started the game brightly going ahead in the 2nd minute through the in-form James Hinchliffe.

Bridge quickly responded, equalising just a minute later through Alex Thomas with an assist for Gino Dragone.

The Wizards then took the lead in the 12th minute when Alex Thomas set up Rhys Lewis.

Bridge then made it three in the 19th minute through Rhys Clutterbuck, thanks to an assist from Will Evans.

Will Evans then made it four in the 34th minute thanks to a Rhys Clutterbuck assist, to give Bridge a 4-1 lead at half-time.

Carew then pulled a goal back through Marcus Griffiths in the 58th minute with a Charlie Perkins assist.

Marcus Griffiths then made it 3-4 with a goal in the 67th minute.

Carew then equalised in the 77th minute  through Leon Stewart with an assist for Frankie Drummond.

Carew then got a dramatic late winner in the 92nd minute through Sam Christopher, with an assist for James Hinchliffe.
