Goodwick United were crowned champions of Manderwood Pembrokeshire Division One with a 5-1 win over Milford United on Tuesday 9th April.

The Phoenix Boys got off to a dream start with three goals in the opening 25 minutes.

Will Haworth opened the scoring after being set up by Rhys Dalling.

Captain Scott Delaney then doubled their lead with an assist for fellow defender Stefan Hayes.

Another defender got in on the action, with Ben Adams scoring thanks to a Will Haworth assist.

The second half started in similar fashion, taking just three mintues for Will Haworth to get on the scoresheet again with Luke Hayward registering the assist.

Milford United pulled a goal back from the penalty spot through Liam Parr in the 72nd minute.

Will Haworth then completed his hat-trick and the scoring for the home side in the 83rd minute, with another assist for Luke Hayward.

The result sees Goodwick United crowned champions with five league games remaining, testament to the strength of their side and the quality they have shown throughout the season.
