The Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League returned to full-time action with all five leagues in action on a Saturday afternoon for the first time this season.

Division One:

With the return of Leon Luby, the new signing of Anthony Bevans in the net and two wins in the bag already, Hakin would have gone into their match against newly promoted Tenby with renewed confidence following a summer of changes at the club.

Sam Christopher scored the game's only goal to give the Mighty Vikings a decisive three points in their title battle.

Elsewhere in the league, Milford United made it three wins out of three with an impressive 4-1 victory over Kilgetty, Goodwick got back to winning ways with a convincing victory over Clarbeston Road and Merlins Bridge were held to a frustrating home draw to Pennar Robins.

Monkton Swifts 2nds kept their place at the top of the table, coming through a difficult away trip to Narberth who have also enjoyed a bright start to the season. Herbrandston also made it three out of three with a narrow victory over St Clears.

Camrose's dream start was dealt a blow with Bridge 2nds securing back-to-back victories, with Johnston thumping Cosheston in the league's most goal-filled match of the day.

Lawrenny and Goodwick United 2nds got off to perfect starts having narrowly missed out on promotion last season with convincing wins over Kilgetty 2nds and Clarbeston Road 2nds respectively.

Elsewhere, Solva got off to a dream start with a 6-0 thumping over Pembroke Boro, whilst newly promoted Neylands 2nds came out on top of a five-goal thriller against relegated Pennar Robins 2nds.

Newly promoted sides New Hedges Saundersfoot United and Monkton Swifts 3rds got off to perfect starts, scoring 14 goals without reply in their two matches, including an impressive 10-0 win for the former.

Having just missed out on promotion last season, Camrose 2nds got off to a strong start with an impressive 4-1 away victory over fellow promotion contenders St Ishmaels 2nds.

Manorbier United got off the mark with an impressive 8-0 victory at home to Letterston 2nds with a strong team performance and the goalscoring prowess of Jordan Richards.

Hundleton carried on their good form, making it three from three to stay top of the table.

Johnston 2nds and St Clears 2nds moved up to the top three spaces with convincing wins over Lawrenny 2nds and Milford Athletic 2nds respectively.
