Merlins Bridge 2nds shot up to third in the table with a comfortable victory over Carew 2nds thanks to four goals from Joe Leahy and another from Daniel Pearce.

With only five games taking place across Pembrokeshire due to bad weather, this was the highest ranking domestic clash, being the only game in Division Two.

Joe Leahy opened the scoring for the hosts in the 21st minute thanks to an assist from Tom Edmonds, only for Carew 2nds to equalise through James Hinchcliffe.

Daniel Pearce then put the Wizards back in front thanks to an assist from youngster Zac Watters to give Merlins Bridge 2nds a 2-1 lead at the break.

Joe Leahy opened the scoring in the second half after being setup by the experienced Matthew D'Ivry, bfore completing his hat-trick in the 84th minute.

Not finished there, Leahy added a spectacular fourth goal with a 45-yard first time chip over the Carew 2nds keeper to wrap up his side's 5-1 win.
