Roch Castle is opening its doors on Monday 28th September 2026, 12pm to 3pm, as part of Cadw's Open Doors initiative. One of Pembrokeshire's most dramatic landmarks, the castle was originally built in the late 12th century by Norman knight Adam de Rupe, perched on a volcanic outcrop with commanding views across the Preseli Hills and St Brides Bay. Visitors can explore over 800 years of history completely free of charge. Please note that parking is limited — arriving on foot is encouraged where possible.
Sister properties Penrhiw Priory (29th September) and Twr y Felin Hotel (30th September) are also taking part in the Open Doors weekend.
