Penrhiw Priory in St Davids is opening its doors on Tuesday 29th September 2026, 12pm to 3pm, as part of Cadw's Open Doors initiative. Visitors are welcome to explore the historic priory and its peaceful surroundings, rich in wildlife and natural beauty. The site has a fascinating history stretching back centuries — from one of the three Bishopric farms of St Davids, to a 19th-century vicarage, to a home for a community of nuns until 1985, and now a beautifully restored luxury retreat.

This is a free event; limited meadow parking is available, though arriving on foot is encouraged where possible. Sister properties Roch Castle (28th September) and Twr y Felin Hotel (30th September) are also taking part in the Open Doors weekend.
